What Noise Live Sessions Is

Noise Live Sessions is our new monthly performance series featuring emerging UK artists in intimate, professionally recorded settings. Each session captures a short set — typically 3-4 songs — filmed and audio-recorded to broadcast standard, and released free across all Noise platforms.

The concept is simple but we believe it fills a genuine gap. There's an enormous amount of emerging talent in the UK that most people will never see live. Geographic limitations, venue accessibility, and the simple reality that you can't be at every gig in every city mean that brilliant artists perform to small rooms while their potential audience misses out.

Noise Live Sessions brings those performances to everyone. Professionally shot, professionally mixed, and presented with the care and attention that the artists deserve. Not a cynical content play — a genuine investment in giving emerging artists a platform.

How We're Doing It Differently

Artist-first deals. The artists retain ownership of their performances. We licence the content for our platforms but don't take ownership of anything. There's no catch, no hidden rights grab.

Fair payment. Every artist is paid for their session. It's not a fortune, but it's more than exposure and it signals that we value their time and talent.

Creative freedom. Artists choose their setlist, their staging preferences, and their visual presentation. We provide the technical infrastructure — cameras, audio, lighting, venue — and they provide the art.

Discoverability. Each session is promoted across Noise's platforms and social channels. Featured artists get a full editorial feature alongside their session. We're building a discovery engine, not just a content library.

Why This Matters

The UK has more musical talent per square mile than almost anywhere on earth. But the infrastructure for showcasing that talent — especially visually, in high-quality filmed formats — is concentrated among established artists with label backing.

Noise Live Sessions is our attempt to democratise that infrastructure. A bedroom producer from Birmingham deserves the same production quality as a major-label artist filming a Vevo session. The music doesn't know the difference, and the audience shouldn't have to either.
